It's far away from the city center. Never go for a walk here from old crnter of the Nice. Better go here by bus.

Loved the peaceful atmosphere, the pétanque players, the old-fashioned carousel and the busts of some of the greatest jazz players of yesteryear.

Well worth a trip up to the park, particularly if there is a local fete on. Rows of ancient Olive trees to picnic under, the Matisse museum to explore as well as the Cathedral and ancient ruins. A bit out of town but worth taking a bus to. Too far to walk though particularly for the older, unfit or short of time, as its deceptively far and a long steady-gradient climb up Blvd de Cimiez.
