Just a really basic hotel. No frills, but appropriately budget priced. No gym, no bar, no fancy restaurant, no team of porters and room service staff, no mini-bars (just a couple of venb8ng machines in the lobby). Totally unpretentious. Basically clean, safe and functional. Ideal if all you need is a clean, safe place to sleep whilst you explore Paris. My five star rating is based on it's honest value for money, not it's features and service.

Pros: the bed is quite comfortable, it is in walking distance from the Gare du Nord, the staff are polite, there is a 24 hour desk and the hotel is very cheap. Cons: the hotel is in a bad area, the walls are paper thin, the floorboards in our room were coming up, the wi-fi is not free.

Rooms are spacious but not AC. Room service is poor but overall alright

Rooms fine but no AC. Breakfast room is tiny so don't bother. WiFi is patchy at best.
