Galleries Lafayette is the equivalent of Harrods in London and Brown Thomas in Ireland so don't expect to buy unknown brands or cheap Tatt here. It is nevertheless worth the visit as the central dome is a must to see and the terrace roof is great for views over Paris. There are plenty of places for a coffee and bites to eat also, so don't avoid it. I found a jacket I would really like but at 4800 euro my already maxed out credit card said "no".

This is a pretty interesting shopping center. Very pretty inside, at least in the East building. Not all levels have high ticket items. The gift shop is worth looking at. Take the time to go to the roof for s neat view. It's worth going and seeing and look into the free fashion shows held there frequently.

worth a visit!! its very beautiful with lots of brands to look around but if you are like me and prefer to spend money on food rather than brands then the architecture is still worth visiting for. Also there is access to the roof where you can enjoy great panoramic views.

Beautiful department store. Absolutely everything you need in one store. Prices vary from cheap to very expensive. All staff friendly and are helpful.

1. Employees don't tell you that you have to do the tax return same day , even when you ask them many times about it.
2. Tax return in not 20% is 10.8%
3. You can not do your tax return at the airport , they lied to me saying I can
4. Doing the line takes more than one hour to get your return
5. Buying in other stores outside of La Fayette will give you 20% or 15% of your tax return
6. Buying well known brands outside of La Fayette you will receive a 100% times a better treatment
