Though I don't expect 1 and 2 star hotels to be the pinnacle of luxury, I do expect them to offer the basics, be clean and safe. Ours Blanc didn't unfortunately provide any of these. Filthy and sticky carpets, smelly towels and a curtain-less shower were some of the things we had to deal with. On top of that, the emergency exit was actually a locked door to another room of the hotel, which meant we had to endure the noise of our neighbours late at night, which were separated from us by less than a wall.
The one saving grace: amazing location, within a few min walking distance from the key areas in Toulouse.

I'm not one to expect more than I've paid for, and have enjoyed making my way around France and the world staying in very basic and adventurous accommodation. Location is great, but I wasn't a huge fan of the sticky carpet, the lack of any window/exhaust, the absence of a shower curtain from the shower-over-bath or the paper thin walls. It was comfortable enough, but a step below most places and some people with higher expectations may not be ok with it.

Awesome location. Clean room. Very affordable. Extremely friendly staff. We will come back to Toulouse because of this hotel and The Melting Pot pub across the street. Love that city.

Very central location. Close to the train station, metro and city center. Lots of things to do around. We left our luggage after checkout and they were super nice. Breakfast is 7 EUR per person.
