Had my wallet stolen from my jacket in the hotel lobby.
had to complain about a drunk man laying in the corridor.
in all not going to be going back.
room small cramped.

The hotel is situated close to the centre off Lille, adjacent to the train station. The rooms were adequate, the rest of the hotel was pleasant and in good repair. Breakfast was brilliant offering a good choice of continental items. I would use this hotel again.

After staying in hostels around Europe for over a month, I'm staying here. It's nice but some luxuries I'm used to from hostels (haha) are not present.
The plug socket is too far from the bed so you cannot charge your phone and use it in bed. My key card doesn't work all the time and the floor is cold.
Other than me being a little picky, the place is really nice. Great bed, lots of space, fast WiFi, good food and drinks, friendly staff. I probably wouldn't stay here on my own but with family and friends who prefer a nicer experience than hostels, it's great.
Edit: the 9 euro breakfast is a complete rip off for what is on offer. Eat breakfast elsewhere.

Garage costs 12Euros/night.
Continental Breakfast 9.99Euros/person.
Plus city tax 1.5Eur per person per night.
For two persons add 35Eur/day to room rate. There are better offers in town with more quality in service.

A beautiful location. Ideal for a city break. Most french people spoke a good degree of English. Had a great time. Downside was the amount of trouble we saw for foreign people. Witnessed a couple of alternations in the lovely streets. Spoilt it for us.
