Not good quality of study. Education system sucks there... students study from Soviet Union books and they think it's an education. Lecturers are on the same level for many years and they don't think about progress.

There is a lot to write about. First of all, the university buildings and campuses are very old and all the classroom materials require to be changed and freshened. Also, having a church in front of the state university is a horrible fact of breaking a law about indoctrination. I was a student of what they call "the best faculty in university" (English Language and Literature) which I didn't like at all. Teachers are old, rude and past oriented which doesn't make a learning a nice and joyful process. University has few exchange programs which often aren't fully granted. Another issue was that classrooms were never cleaned which explains why many people was sick all the time. I remember that the books were written by our lecturers and they were not better than other books out there, I am not saying anything about that I had to wait to get them for weeks and their material quality was just horrible. Unfortunately, if you want to study in this university and if you are let's say a "different" person, you will have to face very horrible homophobia, discrimination and stereotypical comments from lecturers and deans directly or indirectly towards you. I spent 4 years in ATSU and it was the worst experience I ever had.
In short, I would never, ever recommend this university to anyone. They may say that if you are eager to study, you can do that anywhere, but learning environment does matter and ATSU will provide you nothing but stressful, overly strict and old fashioned lecturers and environment!
