Great kids café and restaurant with a new and used clothing and toy store. Lots of toys to play with while parents are having their food and coffee and a little climbing / slide area. They also offer lots of special programs like group play time for very little kids and kids theatre.

Nice selection of used baby/kids clothes, but quite expensive.

Just a very nice place for people with kids, they can play while you sip your cappuccino. Very friendly staff, we usually go there on Sundays for the theatre and the usual playroom

Avoid this place like the plague! I have visited this Kindercafe many times, but have since decided to boycott it for good even though I live very close to it. I would rather travel to the end of town than ever have to set foot in this unfriendly place ever again. The staff were never friendly, even though I speak fluent German, and you are always made to feel unwelcome. I actually can't believe that Amitola has such high ratings on Maps, because other Kindercafes in Friedrichshain are much better, cleaner, cheaper and friendlier, but sadly some of them have gone out of business. Bad service begins the moment you set foot in the door. The staff are perpetually in a bad mood and act as though they hate their jobs. The food is nothing special, totally overpriced and you have to wait forever. The play area for children is tiny, especially in comparison to every other Kindercafe I've visited over the past two years (with the exception of Milchbart which is also small but has better service). It's really a huge pity to write such a terrible review for this place, because I do love the "integrationskonzept," the second-hand store and I would have loved to have painted pottery with my child here in the future. But not a chance!! I always end up leaving here with a very bad taste in my mouth and it's just not worth it any more. As I said, avoid this place like the plague. There are better Kindercafes with friendlier service that deserve your support.

I was expecting good things from the reviews but unfortunately it did not deliver. A slide, a play mat and a few toys were all that was available. The manageress was not at all friendly, asking us to put our pram outside so that it did not get in the way of others... we were the only people there! The table from the previous customers was not cleared for over 1/2 hour, with their food scraps on the floor right by the play area all that time. I would not bother going back.
