I made a reservation and then 1.5 weeks before, I get an email canceling my reservation. Evidently someone wanted to book a block of rooms, so I got bumped. That left me with 1.5 weeks, during high tourist time to find a room. Obviously they do not care about customers, they can not be relied upon and their business practices are terrible. Do not support this type of terrible behavior. There are many lovely hotels in Berlin who do know how to treat guest,..I only hope I can find one!!
