So eine Verarsche !!!!!!
Leute meldet euch hier nicht an. Das Personal ist total unfreundlich. Die Leiterin ist sogut wie nie zu sprechen. Es sei denn man will sich anmelden da ist sie sofort zu sprechen, weil es ja Geld gibt. Buchen einfach 49€ ab ohne das ich davon bescheid weiss bzw. Ohne Absprache. Mir wird unterworfen das ich angeblich Beiträge vor 4-5 Monaten nicht gezahlt hätte und ich trotz Beweise immernoch schuldig da stand. Habe mehrmals angekündigt das ich meine 49€ zurück haben möchte aber es hat sich immernoch nix getan. Seit ca. 2 Monaten ist das Fitness geschlossen und es werden immernoch Beiträge abgebucht. So eine Frechheit lasse ich mir aber nicht bieten. Mein Anwalt lässt Grüßen ;)

Money fraud!
Very unfriendly team Joop & Co. Their Joop studios changed with time to Superwomen, then just closed. No one picks up their telephones. No letter mailed. What about the money and the contracts we all signed? Not to forget all the money Mr Joop & Co took in advance for the "studio and trainers' chargings".

I find it extremely unfair that we signed contracts obligating us to pay monthly to Superwomen when they are not holding up their side of the contract providing the advertised services. In the past month instructors just stopped showing up to teach their courses because, apparently, they are not getting paid! My German is not so great, but the lack of transparency is also really frustrating... if you know the instructors aren't coming, why do the women working at the front desk not inform the room full of women waiting for a class to start??? It also seems as if the childcare has been cancelled, which must be HUGE disappointment to mothers who relied on such advertised services! And the facilities seem to be not so well maintained in terms of cleanliness (huge dustballs in the fitness rooms) and equipping the bathrooms with soap, hand towels, and toilet paper. I think we should be allowed to cancel our contracts in advance if the advertised services are not returned and consistently maintained. It's starting to feel like i'm trapped on a sinking ship... which makes me sad because I really liked working out at superwomen :(

Leider sind meine Erfahrungen nicht so gut. Die Kurse fallen immer wieder aus und so richtig sauber ist s im Studio auch nicht mehr. Ausserdem werden die Beiträge immer früher abgebucht (Anfang April für den Mai?).Das gibt mir sehr zu denken.

I wanted to write a review to balance the other very negative reviews, as well as to provide a perspective from someone's whose German skills are very basic... (sorry, it's long & detailed)
in response to most reviews...
1st, they did sneakily charge everyone an extra 50 EUR. This was obviously very upsetting, but they refunded me when I rejected the charge. Problem solved.
2nd, machines & showers are sometimes broken. Classes sometimes fill to capacity. What do you expect? It's a gym, it happens. Apparently, the gym is more full in the evening, so I go to the gym in the morning. Just be there early if you want to attend a class during a busy time.
I've been a member for over a year and though it isn't perfect, I've loved working out at superwomen fitness! It's affordable, close to my apartment, includes saunas/showers, and the classes are so much fun! I love deep work & i enjoy seeing how much fun everyone has during zumba classes, especially saturday mornings even though the class is super full. I do wish there was maybe more variety like at the other gyms (you could definitely replace a couple bauch beine po classes with something new!)
I have a basic understanding of German & know body parts (plus i have eyes!) so it's easy for me to follow along without needing the teachers to explain everything in English. And even though I can't understand everything, I think the fitness instructors are one of the best parts of superwomen. They make my mornings really fun & push me to work harder (esp classes like body attack!) Maybe since I can't fully understand, there is also a level of ignorance i have about what is actually going on at the gym, but it's ultimately to my benefit because I enjoy myself most mornings
With that I would rate 4 out of 5 stars...
But customer service really ruins the holistic experience. I used to work opening shift at the reception of a gym at 5am basically doing the same thing as the women who work at the front desk (scanning ids, answering questions, handling money). It wasn't the easiest and people can be rude & demanding, but I always greeted people with a smile and patiently assisted them. Superwomen doesn't even open as early as 5am, and even though I'm aware that customer service isn't appreciated as much in German as in the US(where I'm from), it bothers me to not be greeted with a smile or friendly "hallo/morgen". When you push yourself to do something good for your body early in the morning, it makes 100x more enjoyable when you know you're welcome in the space where you're about to be sweating & groaning in pain. It seems to me as though the women working in more senior positions (who i see there most often) are unaware of the value of customer service & treating your customers with kindness and respect (even when performing repetitive tasks or informing people of certain rules), whereas the other young women who seem to work part-time, are much friendlier and helpful. It's really a shame that these women who I assume are in senior positions (maybe i just assume that because they are less friendly) don't value the impact their attitude has on their customers. Some interaction I have with them spoil my workout. You really get the sense that they already have your money for a year(as indicated in the contract), so why should they even make an effort to create a pleasant environment.
I would give customer service 2 out of 5 stars...
I don't want to just bash on superwomen tiergarten because I really like going there & am grateful it is here, but I just don't appreciate how they treat their customers and I would appreciate if there was a better effort to respond to our complaints... 3 out of 5 stars
