As far as I can tell from my limited experience in German train stations, this serves its purpose well. Good variety of food vendors and restaurants, sandwiches, Burger King, coffeeshops, and the occasional foodstand at the far end (the end away from the busses and whatnot). Easy walking distance from clubs and pubs. Trains seem to run on or very close to schedule. Never had a train arrive late, only departed maybe a minute or two late and only twice I think. Friendly staff, though at night don't expect the people at the ticket desks to speak english. Had that problem my first time in Bremen, my friends left me at the club and I had to find my way back to where we were staying, and the woman at the Deutschebahn ticket counter didn't understand me. Luckily I was pretty sure I knew where I was going, just wanted to make sure, and I was right. Much easier to navigate this station than it's larger counterpart in Hamburg.
