Attended Luca Stricagnoli's gig on Nov 4, 2017. Very good acoustics. Sometimes ventilation is not sufficient, super hot inside. Long line to the bar.

Had a great time here in this old, tunnel-shaped cellar. Entry and drinks prices quite reasonable. Great free-jazz with Gilad Hekselman trio when we were there.

Once in a while you find a music venue run as a labor of love. Jazzclub Tonne is such a place. And it shows. Great people doing great work in the service of art.
If Dresden itself wasn't reason enough to go to Dresden, this elegant stone temple to the art of music would be.

We were once here with friends for a jazz concert and really liked it. The club is newly renovated and looks very neat and pleasant, and is located in the basement of a gorgeous Viennese-style palace. Music and musicians were great and so were the public attending.
