A nice collection of modern paintings ranging from favism to surrealism. You can even see a Dali and a Picasso and a lot of Klees, and I mean a lot!
For people working in a creative industry, this is definitely a must visit place.

Worth the visit and entry if you are into Art. If you aren't into it, it will be a quick tour but you will get to see some beautiful Picasso art. Clean, spacious, and great for baby naps in strollers!

The museum offeres a rich selection of art ranging from Paul klee, Max Ernst to Pablo Picasso. It has a very quiet atmosphere with beautiful white light that leave the visitor undisturbed to take in the artworks.

They charge full price even though half of the museum is under construction. They didn't tell us when we bought the tickets so we walked around the top floor for some good 45 minutes and when we were done we were like "um..is this it?! " On our way out we found on the elevator door a paper that said that the bottom gallery was being renewed and would open a few days after. I am angry because if I knew about this I would've obviously waited those few days to visit. Also, the staff knew very little English. As a side note, the names of the paintings are not translated but their descriptions are in both German and English.
If you want a review of the top floor there's some pretty famous painters from Germany. The collection is packed with Paul Klees, some Picassos and they have the not-so-famous yet good paintings of very renowned vanguard artists.

A very impressive and versatile collection of Paul Klee, plenty of Picasso, several Magrittes, Dalis and many other thought provoking masters. It was a satisfying afternoon.
