Good location, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, would be great when the renovation of the gym is done.

One of the better hotels to stay in central Erlangen. However, needs an urgent makeover and upgrade to the facilities. Good breakfast and stable wifi. Staff is very friendly and English is spoken.

Good friendly staff, and decent breakfast.
However the beds are like concrete, the air-conditioning only does hot, and there is a generator or something that every 30 seconds kicks in and sounds like a muscle car running its engine right outside my window. I'm not going to get much sleep in this room, I'm going to try and change it tomorrow.
Also it costs a fortune but the company is paying for that. I'd be pissed if I was. Spending 4 nights here.

Rooms have been renovated, so they are pretty new and up to date. Fitness area and Sauna are also in renovation, which might also lead to an improved sports area after April 2017. However the WiFi is much too slow, as mentioned before. You can't even download small mail attachments in an appropriate time. Breakfast is good and staff is friendly.
