I arrived in Frankfurt at night. The whole Frankfurt seems to be fully booked, small hotels or 5-stars. This hotel was the only one I could find. I had no choice. I was greeted by a very very old and pale faced man alone. There was no one in the lobby, no one in the life, no one in the whole 5th floor where my room was situated. I entered into the room 501, and was totally scared - the whole room was like a cemetery, with large area of black decoration. No color at all, only black and white. All the pictures on walls are gray, with various strange expression. I was literally frightened and ran out. I told the old man that I couldn't stay in his hotel and would accept penalty. He said no I can't give you any refund. His face was so cold and merciless that I had to run out of the hotel. All my Eur 139 was paid for this Halloween-like experience.

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. The breakfast was also very good and goes until 10am.

I stayed two nights here, having booked it sight unseen. I was relieved to find that this hotel was just as good a deal as I had hoped. My primary needs were a good affordability/cleanliness ratio and proximity to the main train station, as I would be traveling to and from there each day. Hotel Bliss delivered perfectly. Pros: Rooms were spotless, reasonably sized (with a nice TV, too - Bollywood movies are great to watch even if you don't understand the dubbed language), and easily accessible. The free breakfast in the morning was orders of magnitude better than what I could ever imagine seeing in a USA hotel chain - I did not miss garbage waffles when given access to German-style cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, bacon, sausages, cereal, fresh bread, and more. Is it fancy? No. But it's good quality. There are also a good amount of tasty-looking restaurants around, the Thai place up the block was very good. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful, the ones I have talked to speak perfect English and advised me on buying train tickets. The bathroom is pretty nice too! Cons: room temperature is controlled centrally, and I was really hot during the day. But Europeans generally are less inclined to be delicate flowers about the heat than folks from the US. The furnished lighting in the rooms is pretty poor if you care about that, but our room had decently large windows for daytime lighting. Other notes: It does not appear to be in a "tourist" neighborhood - the streets here are full of locals. I honestly had zero time to explore much from this home base so I can't speak about accessibility to whatever cool stuff is in Frankfurt.

Nice hotel. Breakfast is tasty with various drinks and snacks. Standard single room is quite small, but have all necessary stuff. Bathroom is big and well furnitured.
It will be nice to have in rooms also toothbrush and slippers.

Very nice. Good location, good breakfast. Very very dark rooms (poor light). Never take room facing the street (noisy)
