From the outside it looks like the hotel from hell. First thought was, no way am I gonna sleep here tonight. But on the inside everything is entirely different. Nice spacious hall, large and comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Don't get me wrong, it still is a budget hotel, so no frills or luxuries. But I really liked it. Situated close to the (in)famous Reeperbahn, but just far away enough in a very quiet part of the neighborhood. Haven't tried it myself, but I'm told that even the breakfast is more than OK. Wouldn't hesitate to book here again.

No luxury, thus nothing for a long stay, but okay for sleeping there just one night.

Looks terrifying from the outside but it's honestly a we'll run establishment. The staff is very friendly and professional. The breakfast is very good and the rooms are ok. Super dated but ok. Clean but beat up. I could stay there again. Low price.

The furniture is reeeeaally dated. But if you can spare modern standards and convenience, give it a shot! Fair price for being close to Hamburg's nightlife at Reeperbahn.

Incredibly rude manager - Germany's very own Basil Fawlty - filthy, tatty rooms, just awful. The lady on reception was nice thought.
