A very odd looking restaurant, decorated to look like a grotto.. weird. The food is ok but nothing special, decent prices and friendly service.

The food here is lovely but the service is truly terrible. We were waiting hours for our meal and then the dishes came out at very different times meaning one of our group was left with no food for 20 mins. At all times we felt like an inconvenience to the staff.

This used to have the most amazing ice cream and surrounding experience, but somehow seems to have taken a turn for the worse since Alex isn’t on premises anymore. The ice cream is still good, but not amazing (might have been a fluke though - natural ingredients and all that), but it’s hard to enjoy it when you sit in a cold room with the ice cream served in paper cups. There used to be more flavour, more style, more flourish. Considering prices are the same, I’ll think twice before coming back.
