Not really 4 star hotel. Rooms are large, but whole hotel need restauration. Too pricey for the offering.

This is the only 4 star ranking hotel available in LU. But in terms of hospitality they are not even 1 star. Neither the rooms are so great nor the cleaning. Also you need to followup for cleaning your room everyday, its better to stay in a hostel than spending so much in this hotel. I stayed there for 20 days for a business trip and choosing this hotel based on just star ranking was the worst decision i made. Try to go for some other hotel is my recommendation.

Dirty, outdated, and rude staff. Avoid this place - it feels like it hasn’t been updated (or cleaned!) since the 1970s. Well, maybe it’s been cleaned a bit, but the carpets and sinks are flithy (see my photos) The commons areas are decent and it’s nice that it has a pool, but it feels like a hotel that needs A LOT of work to bring it up to modern standards. The location is a bit strange too - it sits across from a train station in the middle of what appears to be a deserted business park — very industrial feeling and not very friendly (though the pizza place/diner across the street is actually reasonably good). Also, the staff refuses to turn on the A/C, even when there are signs in the room asking you to call down to the front desk if you want it on - absurd!

Breakfast are incredible! I loved them as well as the staff attention. It's a great place. However the decoration for the rooms is a bit old-fashioned.

I'd rather give this hotel 3.5stars, but 3 or 4 are my only choices and regretfully in that case 3 seems more appropriate - let me explain.
The hotel is right next to Ludwigshafen train station, which means the location is far from ideal. The hotel rooms are in need for updating - they aren't terrible, but they feel dated.
On the brighter side of hotel reviews, the hotel offers a very decent breakfast, guaranteeing a good start into your day.
All in all, not a terrible choice, but not a great one either. Kind of middle of the road.
