Our favorite toy store in Munich. Lots of locally made items and a big space to explore. Ground and upper floor full of toys on display, with a variety of books in the basement level.

Gorgeous shop with a huge selection of wooden and traditional toys. Very good play area so parents can browse toys calmly while the kids test out some of their best items ;). Has a changing room too. Helpful, lovely staff, we spent quite a while in there and didn't feel pressured or watched. Great place.

Amazing store. Huge selection of natural toys, books, art supplies and more. Stopped by twice to buy toys during my holiday in Munich.

Wonderful selection of high-quality wooden toys, art supplies, books of all kinds. Easy to find inspiration for gifts. Very helpful and considerate staff. From the looks of it, they also offer craft workshops for kids.

A whimsical toy-art-knickknack-clothing-book store spread across three floors. Toys are almost all German-made, wooden, gorgeous and thus, expensive. (Tip: If you are looking for more commercial toys, go to Karstadt down the block or better yet, Obletter.) The art section in the basement has a nice selection of art kits for kids plus a small play area with drawing supplies and a rocking horse.
Tip: They offer seasonal art classes for kids and adults so pick up a brochure at the register.
