Zero morals as they cheat for profit with not a hint of discomfort.
I rented a flat through them for the price of 1036 euros but they did not make clear to me that the price does not include electricity. It was a misunderstanding but when the electric company called them they gave the permission to disconnect the electricity without any notice. Not a call or a letter.
They knew I don't speak German I was new in Germany and not aware of the regulations of this country. They knew it before I signed the contract and they were very helpful to make me sign it but not after that.
The electricity was disconnected on Thursday afternoon I payed the bill the next morning but I had to wait until Monday (4 days) for someone to come and connect it again.Their practices are totally barbaric.
They also lied about the construction next door that it will be ready in three to six moths time to make me sign that I accept it so I won't ask for rent reduction later. I lived 2 years in dust dirt and sound pollution. Later when I started meeting people from the same building I found out their rebutation is really bad.
They sued my friends who lived in an apartment on the top floor when a flood on the basement destroyed their valuable family furniture to avoid compensation and in general they are like money robots with zero morals and zero sympathy for humans.
When the owners of my apartment decided to sale it they asked me to sign a document that was a resigning of my right to remain in until I found another place. The document was prepared as if I had wrote it and it was a statement from me saying that I will leave in three months to their notice.They insisted that I sign this document by lying that this is the law. Of course I denied to sign it telling them that if it the law then they don't need my signature but I agreed with them that im I will try to find another place to move. Without any further expectations.
It took me some time to find a place appropriate for me and when I did I immediately told them and before I singed the new contract to see if they would keep what was prior agreed. They wished me the best and told me that I should wait for one week to have a document ending our contract. They also reassured me that I don't really need it and the e mails that we exchange is enough evidence.
I waited for the document to arrive but instead I got a mail saying that I did not end my contract they way it' is written in it that means they can't end my contract because I did not send them a letter by post. Because of the prior experience I did not rely on what the owners representative their son in law said but I mailed them a letter just to be sure. They denied they received any letter from me even though I 've send them a copy of the confirmation from Deutsche Post that was delivered. This was their excuse to create delays so they can draw more money from me.
I ve send them another letter a couple of weeks later referring to the first letter and asking an extension of one month. Instead I ve got a letter from them as my first letter never existed extending the contract three months so they could draw 2 more rents from me, that is 2100 euros .
Last but not least I had a "Guthaben" of 145 euros Form 2013 "Betriebskosten" denied to settle from 2014 Betriebskosten which I asked them to do. Instead peremptorily they decided to draw this money from the Kaution.
They use any weak point someone might have possible ignorance or even lies to turn laws against people for making more profit. They have absolutely zero ethics. Laws exist to protect human rights and not to operate against them. This is the absolutely perverse use of the law.
I have all documents and mails proving the truth of my sayings and the reason that I wrote this review is to protect other people from their greedy nails also to point the tottaly unethical way some companies operate in Germany.
