The place is a must see to get the feel of real German history. Beautiful walk around the castle with plenty of food stores. Go to information centre first to get the map and walk to major attractions within 5k zone.

Great looking 11th century castle, cannot go inside just walked around the outside but inside the walls. Great view of the city.

The castle is a historical treat. Its gardens and balcony gives a royal ambience to the tourists. The Balcony gives a breathtaking city view. A must visit for all age groups. Don't miss the tour guide history.

It was a museum. We bought the ticket for all 3 places. I asked if I needed a brochure to follow. No was the answer. Inside the museum there was a lot of English. In the tower there was some English. The tower was very interesting. The well had no English and they packed so many people in we couldn't see anything. They need to ask people to rotate midway to give everyone a chance to see. No English to read in there.

Pleasant castle with a good display and arrangement. €7 per adult (children are free). It's relatively small but it is not particularly crowded. The ticket also allows access to the Sinwell Tower which involves dealing up/down a spiral staircase for some lovely views of the old city. At the bottom of the tower (outside) are the only free public toilets I have so far encountered in Germany.
