If you order the Schäufele, you'll likely be okay. But given that fish are supposedly living in water, that filet was the dryest in ages - completely overcooked, and the butter potatoes were badly cooked too.
Acoustics in the restaurant are horrible and would benefit from dampeners on the walls and ceilings.
Their upside is they can seat a lot of people.

Good German food. Terrible service. After asking for the menu and waiting for ten minutes being completely ignored, we had to fetch it ourselves. We ordered still water to drink and it was served in a pitcher. We taught it was tap water and did not complain since the quality and taste of tap water in Germany are good. We received the bill and we were charged 5.5 euros for 1 litre of water. We asked for explanations and the waitress very rudely replied she had served bottled water. When we pointed out that bottled water should be served in a bottle that must be opened at the table, she walked away, brought a glass with tap water and a closed bottle, put them on the table and told us we could check the difference ourselves. Never seen anything like that in my whole life! We paid the bill and waited for the change. After a few minutes we asked the waitress about our change and she said she taught it was her tip. No comment. Never experienced such a lack of politeness in a restaurant in my whole life. Avoid this restaurant as much as you can.
