I came here towards the end of a busy day visiting Potsdam's palaces. I had a beer and bratwurst and had a nice seat overlooking the lake (Jungfernsee). The nearby jetty was busy as tourist boats picked up and disgorged their customers. It was a fine spot to reflect on an excellent day. Prices were okay, but the queues for food and drink were not short. Buses ran from around 400 metres away to take one into Potsdam.

The view is really nice, but most tables outside are in the shadow. The food is also nice, but the kitchen is VERY slow. The place is clearly understaffed.

Go on a summer's day. Enjoy the view over the lake and watch the ferries shuttling tourists back and forth.
The self brewed beer goes down very well. The food is also very good. The service is also above standard.

Great restaurant. Since it is a beer brewery, do order some of it to your meal. You can get typical German and local food here. The price is quite acceptable.
