Rented a luxury car for almost 2 weeks and it was pretty beat up. When we arrived to the airport in Munich and pick it up the people couldn't find the keys, didn't have the car pulled up and made us wait for almost a hour while they got us a different car.

They offer Pretty good cars with low rental price if you book using mobile app.

To begin, I am just getting to Germany needing transportation until my vehicle arrives in country. I find Sixt Rental to be the closest (30-45 minutes) and decided to rent from them since I've rented from them in the States before. Very unpleasant surprise as I begin my transaction the first thing asked for is my passport. The staff wasn't rude at all, but the attitude for my situation was like we really don't care. In the rental confirmation, I received a copy of the General Terms and Conditions of Rental. Section C. 1. states specifically, When the vehicle is handed over the lessee must produce a domestically valid driving license (I have) necessary for driving the vehicle, a valid means of payment (I have) as well as a personal identification card (I have two forms) or passport (did not have). Personal ID card OR passport. The agent insisted that my passport was mandatory and asked where did I get the General Terms and Conditions like I wasn't suppose to know what it was. I told her that it was attached with my email confirmation for the rental. After the branch manager said that I needed the passport I kindly said ok that I will go get it, mind you, this is a 30-45 minute drive there and back. When I returned with my passport, I was told that it has been 60 minutes past my reservation time, it is cancelled, and there are no cars available to rent. Just about the same amount of cars were on the lot when I left were still there. There was no form of communication between the Agent and I about such time frame and/or cancellation of the rental. No where and I mean no where is it in the Sixt Rental Agreement or General Terms and Conditions that an individual must arrive within 60 minutes or the reservation will default to a cancellation. There was no language barrier as the branch manger spoke english and understood me very well. Very disappointed with customer service at this location as I wasn't offered another rental because "no cars were available" or even referred to another branch to help me out. If this "60 minute rule" is a branch policy of some sort it should be sent in writing along with the rental confirmation. Hard to believe that my reservation was cancelled and the car that was reserved for me was rented out along with all the others in that short amount of time. Huge inconvenience of me and my friends time today. Danke!

Friendly and professional staff. Easy and fast booking system. Amazing cars and equipment. I will recommend further 10/10

Till now rented the vehicle twice and both the time received excellent vehicle. The staff is also friendly and professional.
