A quiet hotel which has a warm family atmosphere. I went there on a residential trip with a school and we were made totally at home. It is well furnished, though some might say it is not modern. What is important is a reasonably priced accommodation, excellent food with staff who are responsive to requests-large or small. When visiting Kumasi, I would definitely consider returning.
There are some things that detracted from giving this a perfect 5 eg clocks not working, towels were clean but not soft to touch, a face basin with loose taps, tile finishing incomplete in bathroom, mosquito netting in bathroom had slash so could not open window, mosquito net frame in bedroom could not be moved, so could not air the room, loose wiring behind tv, only 1 accessible 3 pin plug socket, bedroom facing a bare concrete wall. These were things that just need to reported which I am sure would be fixed.
Overall, a nice hotel that does not pupport to be a 5 star hotel, but has all the charm and makes one feel at home, while away from home.
