Fantastic to get good local food at a reasonable price...wood oven cooked stews. You need to book. Service efficient and friendly.

One of the best sit-down meals we had in Chania, and possibly in Greece. Wonderful Cretan food in very generous portions - we struggled to finish both times we went, including after a day hiking Samaria Gorge. The moussaka is stunning and the fresh baked bread with buttermilk spread is to die for.

Food is very, very good and portions generous, but they run out of meat from the wood oven (their best stuff) pretty early into the night.
Also, the location itself is nothing to write home about and the tables are too close together making the place too crowded, noisy and uncomfortable.
To sum up, as long as you go for the food and not for the place or the location, you should leave happy.
