I have lowered my review from 5 stars. I have ordered again the pork leg but it was too salty and had bad smell. Salad was smaller and no taste. We liked only the appetizer with the eggplant. People were smoking on the outside area bothering us with the smoke.

Beautiful cretan food, served by friendly Greek speaking English staff. They made our family of 10 feel very welcome and even lit a candle to celebrate a birthday.
Advised to book if you are a big party, as it gets very busy.

Having tried most of the restaurants in Chania it can safely be said that this is hands down, (no ifs no buts) , THE place to eat. 5 stars don't do it justice. Super quality, delicious food, clean, excellent service, great variety of delicacies, good pricing. Over 15 years of great dining. Experiment as much as you can with the appetizers. You just can't go wrong with this place.

If you want authentic, Greek/Cretan cuisine then you need to head here. Our villa owner recommended it & it didn't disappoint. We felt welcome from the moment we walked into the courtyard. The service was spot on, with lots of help on what was good on the menu, what was available as today's specials & even telling us what wine our villa owner (Babis) drank! The sausages for a starter was a a big portion but they were really light. The Greek salad hit the spot but the star was the rabbit in a white wine sauce. The meat was tender, flavoursome & came clean off the bone. Hopefully we'll get chance to return during our stay.
