We had a great experience renting a car from Akrogiali in October 2017 for 3 days while touring the island of Naxos. Akrogiali was less expensive than the competitor across the street and the lady that helped us with the car rental was super polite and friendly. She even let us include an additional driver on the contract without any additional charges. Overall, it was a great experience.

So disappointed. They delivered the car in our hotel. The boy was very rude to us since the beginning. I didn't say anything as we had a massive jet lag (my bad). Then the car was old and in bad condition. Again I didn't say anything as we had agreed for €30/day and in my mind maybe I was getting what I was paying. When the days were passing we realized that we had given the worst car in the island and when we returned it, I asked what other cars they have. To our surprise they told us that the car we were using was for €25/day (!!!) and for €30/day we could have a better, newer and bigger car. Work ethics zero, customer service below zero.

We walked a little around Naxos asking for car rental rates and found the best one here. We were a little worried after reading some of the reviews on here after signing for the car, but the fears were unfounded.
The car was next to new and had no troubles in the days we drove it around the island.
Return was very easy and the staff were accommodating with a later return time when we had to return to Athens on a later ferry.
Would hire again.

These are SCAMMERS and LIARS! Delivering cars with damaged tires, then having clients to pay for damaging "the new tire".
Worst experience that we had in Greece is to meet these guys and rent a car from them. we ordered KIA Picanto for 35 EUR/day, they bring to us a "luxury" FIAT which cost 60 EUR/day, but as they said "Picanto was busy", they bring that "Luxury Fiat car" only for 35 EUR/day "especially" for us.
After driving about 10km - we found that the tire is damaged. we changed the tire ourselves, called them and asked for car change.
Administration charged us 60 EUR to buy a new tire.
I'm sure that it wasn't our fault and they are just scamming to charge extra money!!!
It wasn't a brand new tire. but they charged us for brand new tire.
They should cover that ongoing expenses on their cars!

Of course, if they aren't maintaining regularly and not changing tires, at some point their client will accidentally damage an old tire and have to pay them for a new tire. such a great business...!!
