Some body has to tell this stupid Marcia Walters not to do a promotion here for anothe company. Also the prices in European Union are with Euro and not Dollars.

Unacceptable service. Staff was rude. Despite reserving car on-line, and obtaining a confirmation number, when I called from the Port the staff said reservation was meaningless because it was booked within 24 hours. I asked if cars were available anyway, and the answer was "yes" but the staff continued arguing about the invalid reservation. After resolving that, I said I would take a taxi and be there in a few minutes. When I arrived, a sign on the door said back in a few minutes. After 15 minutes, I went up the street to "New Car Rental" which promptly and cheerfully rented us a vehicle (for a cheaper rate). I suggest New Car Rental or the Avis also on the same street. Better yet, rent at the port (2 or 3 local companies there) or take a cab or bus to your destination and rent a car as necessary. Rentals are available all over the island.

AVOID SIXT NAXOS GREECE

I booked a car online from Sixt Naxos Greece and jotted down the reservation number and price in dollars. When I arrived the hotel called Sixt for me. The rep. said he was out of the office and would get back in a hour or so. An hour passed and I called only to receive a recording they were out of the office. The hotel called again later and the rep. finally brought a car to the hotel. Two hours had passed while we cooled our heels at the hotel waiting. When the representative arrived and we were completing the paperwork he said he couldn't find the reservation. I showed him the reservation number with the $73.00 (for two days rental) listed above the number. He completed the paperwork and then told be the total would be 73 Euros ($94.90) I said the price was $73.00 and pointed to it on my notepad. He said no it would be 73 Euros. I said Heck NO and he left in a huff. I think he thought the dollar sign was a Euro sign and he thought he could get away charging me more, seeing how the contract was complete and I only needed to sign. I later rented a car for $78.00 (including extra excess insurance) for the two days. Clearly he tried to take advantage. Worse when I tried to pull up the reservation to show him the price, they wanted me to enter some sort of "security code" which I didn't have even though I had the reservation number. Avoid Sixt Naxos Greece. Fun Cars is a block from the port and are much cheaper. Naxos Car rental, fun cars, and others will bring the car to you and they are cheaper as well.
