I went to this restaurant last night with my husband for a date night. Although it was a quiet night, we were met promptly by a hostess and seated upstairs. Our server was a fun, energetic guy who explained each dish we ordered and offered excellent advice on our choices. We ordered all three of the sangrias on the menu and each was unique, with well blended flavors. I specifically ordered the white sangria and enjoyed the fruity citrus flavors. We ordered the stuffed dates, the shrimp, chicken and chorizo paella, the baked queso, and the ahi poke cups. Each flavor was developed nicely and nothing competed with the other. The dates were so delicious - a contradiction of salty, sweet, rich, and light. The queso was light and smooth. Although the bread could be a little crustier, it was the perfect vessel for the fluffy and fun cheese dish. The poke was fun in its wonton cups and the garlic aioli set it all off. The kitifi shrimp were fun too with all the little strands of phyllo dough. The kitchen staff were having such a fun time in the back too - it's always good to hear when the staff is enjoying themselves as much as we were! They were happy to answer questions and had everything out promptly. I will absolutely recommend it for a date night for an event. Next time - we're stopping through for breakfast which they do on the weekends!
