Been coming here longer than I'd care to admit. A special pub with great live music nights and decent beer. The best pub in Guernsey by some distance.

Great local pub, best selection of ales in Guernsey. No food and the gents are always a bind when it is busy.

Unwelcoming Manager/Landlord especiallly towards dogs. It's not even a plush pub with wooden flooring in bar area. Wanted to try as saw it was in thd CAMRA Good Beer Guide. In the end went next door to the Cornerstone. Very friendly welcome. Dogs allowed in bar area and their beers and ciders were excellent. This pub also has lot's of CAMRA awards and deservably so.

The Cock and Bull is one of those places that appeals to almost everyone. There's no pretention here, you'll see lawyers and doctors drinking alongside manual labourers and shop workers. The decor is a bit dated but the atmosphere is good and live music nights are a hit.
