Charming hotel and restaurant in the middle of Guernsey. Accommodation is high standard. Food is excellent. Good range of real ales which change when the barrel is empty. It's a busy pub, popular with locals so the barrels empty after a few days! Strongly recommended.

We were here for the restaurant. Everyone in my party enjoyed their meals, although they were more expensive than other restaurants in the area. The outdoor seating was comfortable, and blankets were provided for those who felt cold, but the tables were slightly too large and impersonal.

A great cosy pint. We stumbled across it on the walk home and had to pop in for a pint. Very friendly staff who helped us with the directions home

Booked 4 day break away to celebrate my 60th birthday.originally booked into another hotel but transferred to the fleur du jardin because of building works at first hotel.
We are not disappointed at all.hotel is very good with all staff very friendly and food very good.restaurant is full every night with residents and locals so that must be a good sign.very good choice of menu with all food piping hot and lovely and freshly prepared.
Only draw back is that our room was along side the road and therefore subject to traffic noise.the plus side was that all noise stopped at bedtime but then restarted 6 o'clock in the morning.this was not a problem for us as we are early risers but those wanting a long lie in should seek quieter rooms.
Hotel has lovely outside seating area that was perfect for lunches and evening meals in the sunshine.
Our first night we were entertained by a local morris dancing group.i am not sure if they were booked or just turned up for a dance and a drink but I enjoyed the short demonstration.
