Marriott Hotel is a relatively new hotel going on three years now, it is a place that is very beautiful, that's where the majority of high-level business people come to do business and have lunch.

Good place to stay in Port-Au-Prince. Not the best location, but the hotel is safe. The food is expensive and inconsistent quality. One night one dish was amazing, the next one it was ok. Perhaps the cook makes all the difference. The breakfast buffet is good. Although one day the fruit would be amazing, the next flavorless. Staff is super friendly. The internet service works well. It has arguably the best swimming pool in a hotel in town. It is a safe choice.

Staff was GREAT! Everyone knew English and were very helpful and knowledgeable to answer questions. The hotel itself could use some touch-ups: my room smelled like cheap men's cologne, sink was stopped up, bed linens always felt damp... but my requests were always quickly addressed. Pool was clean and beautifully lite at night. Gym was nice if i had the time i would have used the personal trainer who was available. Cafe was good option for breakfast. Restaurant was ok. Did not try the $25 per person breakfast. Gift shop was quaint. I would likely return.
