One of the best military museums in Europe. A lot of historical pieces from First and Second World Wars .

The souvenir shop has only overpriced books and nothing more. It wasn't even open when I visited. It is a bummer, because the museum had some interesting mini models of tanks, which after I saw them, I was hoping to be able to buy one as a memory of that place. You don't have to pay to take pictures, also there isn't nothing special to photograph. What I did enjoyed is how they reacted famous battles with miniatures. Also, they had mannequins dressed up and equipped. Nothing special over all.

We enjoyed our visit at the Museum very much. Many interesting stories, small arms, guns, uniforms and other items, – mainly from the hungarian army, but there is also some russian and german stuff. The Museum tells you about important time periods in the hungarian (military) history. There are scenes with weapons, wax figures and sound effects. In the World War I section they have even build some kind of a trench. So you can imagine the depicted situations very well. Many of the placards are written in english, too. The informations given are objective - so no die hard patriotism. A high recommendation for everyone who is interested in military history or Hungarian history.

Great museum, a lot of small arms and nice uniforms. It's great to see the hungarian prespective on the great war and WW2.
