I have rented many many times cars. I had never had a worst experience than this one. Staff on the pickup was unable to answer my questions about insurance coverage by replying to my questions with "it supposed to be" making me feel not so confident on what I have purchased.

On the return I was charged for a chipped windshield I didn't break. We got the car with 10cm of snow left on a dark parking, how I was supposed to see the damage? The agent charging me for the supposed damage was more than rude.

Really the worst rental experience. I hope you they take care about the staff at the counter as they are the image of the company, which now, looks so bad.

We rented from green motion for a few days. On returning the car there was a tiny crack in the bumper which we had not noticed but were happy to pay for. They tried to claim for stone chips and countless other issues that were nothing to do with us but present before we rented the car. Would never rent from them again.

I would strongly advise against renting from this company or at least suggest you go into this rental agreement knowing full well that you might lose your entire deposit.

They have cheap rates for car rentals but will say that you damaged their car. Mind you the roads are not entirely paved in the country. I’d suggest getting the biggest insurance package (to which you’re better off renting from a reputable company that won’t cheat you) or just not renting at all.

I was charged $2200 for kicks on the driver door. You could replace an entire car door or two for that price.

Service was good - staff do the usual trick of pressure to get extra insurance which is to be expected from a cheaper priced rental company.

There were some small paint chips that weren't on the inspection form, so as with any rental company make sure you allow yourself time to inspect the car thoroughly to avoid any charges for damage you didn't cause. I've read reviews from people that notice paint chips and don't report them and complain when they get charged, when that is 100% their fault. Don't get pressured to sign immediately - thoroughly inspect the entire car including undercarriage and note extra damage no matter how small.

I was hesitant to use them due to some bad reviews but I would definitely consider using them again.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They are a total fraud. In September 2017 I visited Iceland with my family and rented a car from Green Motion. I was given a car, which had numerous; grain sized chips all around and major scuffs to front and back bumper. I inspected the car for damage but due to numerous small chips I didn’t think much of it and just mentioned it to the attendant. When I was returning my car the attendant flagged a chip no more than the size of “A Grain of Rice”. I told him that the car has these all over and I did not inspect for these grain sized chips. After arguing for over half an hour and fearing that I will miss my flight I gave in. They charged me over $2,700 for a chip the size of a rice grain…, (you can paint the whole car for this much)which was not even caused by me. I have since contested this charge with my credit card company, but travelers beware these people are a total scam. Upon my arrival in USA, I read so many other reviews alleging the same scam. Do yourself a favor and avoid this fraud of a company. Shame on you Green motion.
