Me and my wife traveled to Iceland in July and we rented a car from iRent company, a few miles down the road from the Keflavik Airport. Our experience with iRent was very positive. The manager, Mikki was a very nice and friendly man. We went through the paperwork quickly and we got offered coffee and snacks while they had our car getting ready for us. We had some questions and concerns but found out that the company had very accommodating and "no problem" policies. Returning the car was also easy, we simply left it on a street in front of the terminal and locked the key inside. We definitely recommend iRent .
