By far my favorite bar to go in Reykjavik! Beers are fairly priced and they have a good happy hour. The bartender with the beard was the best! If you're visiting, try the black death, and make sure to buy the bartender one too! Outdoor seating area only has one covered table, so snag it if you can, because the weather changes all the time.

In love with this bar. Greatest bar in Reykjavik for weekday drinking. The staff is so kind and welcoming and there's always a place to sit!

As an Irish man, I can confirm that this pub is as much Icelandic as it is Irish to be fair. I suppose if you stick a couple of place names up on a wall, it can be called an Irish bar. No Irish music or musicians and most importantly, no Irish owners. I liked it but don't try to be something you're not!
The best thing about here was a bar tender called Magnea. She was such a lovely person and made us feel so welcome. She gave us solid advice about what to see and do in Iceland and we went back a second night only because of her kindness and warmth.

A pleasant surprise for a decent Guinness in Reykjavik (of all places in the world). Went here with a colleague for a drink and we met with some random Norwegian group on a conference/business trip. My colleague and I both got drunk and ended up in a Icelandic "julebord". Luckily I wasn't married at the time.
