The park is well maintained and a favourite among health conscious morning walkers. Abundance of flora and fauna makes the park special. There are a number of badminton courts maintained within the park by various groups. Vendors sell fresh herbal health drinks in the morning for the benefit of health conscious people. Ample free parking space is available around the park.

This park is very old and have seen many phases in his life. I have grown up playing in this park only. Presently it's condition has improved a lot with the help of local people and local government. Highly crowded in summer mornings.
