One of my friends was suffering from kidney pain because of stone and while searching on internet I got to know about Devasya Kidney Hospital. After visiting this hospital, the consulted Doctor assured us about the 100% positive result of Holmium Laser Technology for Stone. While treatment hospitality was very good, staffs were caring & skilled and the result was as positive as the hospital management said.

I have been under treatment of laparoscopic surgery from last few months but now I am perfectly cured. Their staff are very helpful and the Doctors are very precise with the appointments which I liked the most. The staff keeps very happy and pleasant atmosphere in Hospital.

My Aunt had a problem in Kidney, One of my friends recommended this hospital and specially Dr. Dinesh Patel. Really had a good Experience precisely the Staff and the Reception, they were very kind and helpful. Hospital’s Infrastructure is also good and they also have Advanced Equipments which helps Patient to Cure as soon as possible.

I am truly happy with Devasya Hospital. We had rushed in midnight after an accident into emergency ward. Their response was very prompt and good. The support staff like nurses & admin staff everyone was very co-operative and caring, they all were very much in good co-ordination with each other. Dr Dinesh counselled us very well and explained us well about the treatment and helped us understand it well.

This is a long review but honest one out of personal experience. So please read on if you are looking for honest opinion.
There are many disappointing experience with this Hospital.
First of all the hospital/management/Doctors (like most Hospitals these days) does not care for its patients but only for the money of the patients. It is a money making , business minded organization with no shame as they will put a huge bill amount at the end of the treatment.
Consultancy fees is very high and they will call you at least 10 times before start treating , till then they will take consultancy fees continuously. Also they will ask for multiple tests from they consulting Test labs and Blood Testing Units for which the hospital gets commissions.
They will make simple procedure like kidney stone removal sound like complex procedure and first thing they ask you to get admitted in their ICU immediately. This is done to extract more money and not let you go out of the hospital immediately.
Once you get admitted in ICU they will give you a huge list of medicine which is never actually used and goes back to the medical store which is owned by the hospital. The staff will tell you they have used all the medicine. I have spent Rs 19,000 on medicine for my relative who was in ICU for kidney stones and they used all the medicine in half day. I had to buy medicine worth Rs 5000 more so that it could be used in the evening.
The mediclaim department is confused and does not know the procedure well. They will not inform about Cashless treatment, they will prefer money in cash.
The accounts team will keep asking you to pay advance continuously as soon as you are admitted in hospital. Also they will ask you to pay for money every day.
They will not give you medicine file till you make full payment.
The nursing staff is not well trained and they sleep at night during the night shift. The ON duty doctor on night shift can also be seen sleeping on the floor if all the rooms are full. If the rooms are empty then they sleep in the rooms after watching Television.
The housekeeping staff are the worse as the consume alcohol and go to sleep at night so if there is any emergency they will get up late and work in a drunk state. Once my brother asked for drinking water and housekeeping staff who was drunk that night went to some other room and gave water.
Also they ask for money every night (I think it is for buying alcohol)
The house keeping manager is worst as he is the right hand of the Hospital Chairman and he is not afraid of anyone so he work as he wants because he knows that he will not be fired as he works for a low salary.
The staff is low in number so only one housekeeping staff is used for entire hospital and if that staff is absent the house keeping manager will clean the toilets and the floor that day.
The Hospital outside environment is dirty with Municipality dustbins and Cows and Dogs everywhere.
I can go on but I will stop as it is an endless list.
Go to this hospital at your own risk .
