Been to this restaurant for dinner. Had decided to go elsewhere but thought of trying some Bengali cuisine as never had it before. Went through the menu and after seeing the variety of non veg dishes on offer, made my choice. Went in for a Fish Amritsari Tikka (8 pcs) and Tandoori Chicken (2 pcs) in the starters. For main course ordered for Katla Kalia (fish preparation in gravy. The fish itself has very less bones and is fleshy) and steam rice. Here are my ratings:
1) Ambience: 3.5/5: Small restaurant with a seating capacity for 30-40 pax. Restaurant is fully air conditioned. Decor is ok. The restaurant has a TV as well mounted on the wall
2) Food: 4/5....The best part....Really delicious. Worth every penny i spent. However the only problem i thought was the chutney served and the Fish Amritsari Tikka starter was a tad too salty. Else every other dish was well prepared and tasty
3) Service: 4/5
4) VFM: 4/5......Bit expensive. Ended up with a bill of Rs 945 taxes included

Yesterday i've visited this place to have a rich non vej with my family and friends, but it was a average experience. we ordered chicken tandoori, fish tandoori, and katla macher jol (Bengali style)
chicken was so sticky and test less probably they have cooked it in morning and recook while order.
tandoori fish was okay,
but the katla macher jol was good, chapati was also fine
charges are very high in respect of the food quality it comes upto 200% more then the quality
staffs were okay, on the complain of "tandoori chicken" the gave us a discount of 10% on total bill amount of around 1600/-
because of the poor food quality, i'll not try to visit again

The fish served was stinking nd it cozed upset stomach...old never visit.. hygiene problem persist as well

3 rd class food quality I have ordered mutton biriyani but it was stinking. Please don't ever visit this restaurant. And also the boy came to my home for delivery was Carrying a wrong bill . My payable amount was 320 /- but they gave us 600 /- bill.

Surely unrated place just because western culture doesn't gets the junture of eastern cuisine and lifestyle. Few dishes are really good including seafood and other chicken mades but the place still needs some on Veg. dishes.
