It's a wonderful place for social organisations and non profits to conduct your training, meeting and other activities for a small fee. The staff is very helpful and you can also arrange for short stays and food for your team if they need it on premise.
This is not a hotel so do not go expecting any luxuries or room service

As a young student, headed for Madras (as it was called) for a camp, our group halted at this Jesuit-run institution. It was clean, inexpensive, offered wholesome food, and had some great reading material.
Over the years, I've stopped by here at many times. You may not realise from outside the campus, but this is a well-managed place where training programmes are run, and accomodation offered (you need a recommendation to avail of that though, this is not a walk-in hostel or hotel!).
Loved their library, and their overall commitment to social justice issues.
