This cinema hall is a survivor. It has survived the onslaught of TV and now the internet. Quintessential North Calcutta Cinema hall. No idea how long it can survive.

One of the oldest cinema halls of Kolkata...though the hall is still in business but the condition of the hall tells the sad story of its current status...
It is not maintained at all...would not suggest anyone to go here to watch a movie...until and unless you are planning to have some fun with your partner...
The hall is stuffy...no ac...seats are very closely placed so hardly there is any leg room available...sound system is also bad...
Only low budget bengali movies are screened these days...

Its quite old situated at Hatibagan market. You can find good deals in this market if you have good bargaining skill.
