Budget hotel, complimentary breakfast, easy access to all parts of kolkata. I have stayed here 2 times and both the times very comfortable.

It's one of the most disgusting hotels to stay in. The structure may be acceptable but the service provided is unacceptable.
a. Drainage system sucks and there's never a permanent solution to this. If you make a call to inform them, each of takes full responsibility to blame another department.
b. Some of the staff members are rude. I asked the receptionist to write down how much I need to pay on my check out. She refused to give me the sheet on which she had written and later justified her act by saying that she would have given the paper had I told her it was to get the amount reimbursed. She got argumentative and her tone was partly harsh.
c. Tea bags rationed UNLESS you raise a hue and cry
d. Delayed breakfast most of the days.
e. Rude staff members
Overall, a very unpleasant experience. A hotel should be home away from home and to say the least, it should have polite people.
Some people here are good but I will definitely not be leaving with a good taste in my mouth. Very defensive.

Hotel is very conveniently located near Park Street Kolkata. It's a medium budget hotel and is having several conference rooms. Hospitality is good and employees are well dressed and disciplined. Food quality is good and different varieties available. It's a good place for regular comers.
