Beautiful location very near to Naina Devi Temple and Naini Lake.
Rooms are good.
Basically a heritage property.
Good to stay.

Nice hotel, having nice lawn area, have parking. They have complementary shuttle service from a point near naini lake, since it is located on little high altitude. However they don't lit bonfire on routine basis even in October. They have parking also. Their food is nice and tasty. Rooms are neat and clean. Since made of wood, they give feel of cottage.

BAD EXPERIENCE -
1. PAYMENT CONFUSION
Advise to double check the minimum booking amount with Hotel on email as the sales manager Mr. Shailendra is a very confused person & very incompetent in communicating the minimum advance amount to be deposited for booking.
Had to go twice to the bank for depositing amount as he did not mention anything in the email but verbally he changed his statement.
2. REACHING DIFFICULTY
The hotel is situated at a height and the road is very steep which makes travelling to and from hotel very difficult and they don't provide cab facility after 8 which they do not inform while booking.
3. TASTELESS FOOD
The food was not at all tasty.
Plus the fun thing was, even if you do not opt for buffet dinner, it will be forced on you. You cannot order anything apart from what is made in buffet.
4. Rooms are not worth the price paid.
One star because that was the minimum, otherwise 0 star.

The hotel is located in a British Era period building. The location was good but the services provided are not worth the price paid. The flooring of rooms was not repaired for years. The bed Lenin was not clear. Not even the basic toilet amenities like properly sanitized towels, dental kit etc was provided. Other better options are available at same or even lesser price.

The rustic appeal of the place welcomes you, the courteous staff, warm service and great views make the stay special. Food has limited options on buffet but everything tastes good. And they are more than ready to serve you what you would like.
The shuttle is quick to pick you from the mall road pick up point.
