I highly recommend Truly India Travel. My driver was Budhi and he was fantastic! I got to see so much more than I had anticipated on my short trip to the North because of him. He is always on time and looking out for your best interests. As a female travelling alone I felt very safe and comfortable. Book this service and you will not be disappointed! Ajay and Truly India Travel are the best! They provided for our group of 9 in every way possible. Even when we requested seemingly outrageous things, Ajay would say, "Every thing is possible", and delivered! His ability to speak excellent English also made everything easy, whether it was visiting off beat places or ordering food!
And driving!! Oh, my gosh, they are the best in a place where rules of the road are up for grabs! See the real India. Go with Ajay!
Ajay and Truly India Travel are the best! They provided for our group of 9 in every way possible. Even when we requested seemingly outrageous things, Ajay would say, "Every thing is possible", and delivered! His ability to speak excellent English also made everything easy, whether it was visiting off beat places or ordering food!

My husband, Gary and I traveled with Ajay as our guide for over a 4 week period in 2007. Ajay found the interesting spots we wanted to see. It was much more than the regular tourist stuff. Ajay is kind, always on time and one of the best guides while we were in India. Truly India travel is Truly the greatest. We definitely recommend this company.

I visited India for the first time during Summer 2012. Ajay helped me coordinate the entire trip from start to finish flawlessly. Ajay was always exactly where he said he was going to be and always early (these two things are crucial when you're trying to navigate a country with so many people). He chose beautiful hotels that were priced reasonably, but westernized enough to make me feel comfortable. He chose wonderful sightseeing opportunities (my favorite was going to the spice market) that only a local would know about. He allowed me to take the trip at my own pace.
Ajay was also flexible and quick to respond when I thought I needed to change plans. I let Ajay pick all of my hotels EXCEPT for one ashram I stayed at in Rishikesh. I chose this ashram and Ajay warned me it would be a bit difficult of a stay (no A/C, ashram-style living). Unfortunately, my room was infested with insects. I was upset and called Ajay. He immediately sprung into action. He was prepared to immediately hop in the car to come and get me, he offered to book me another hotel, he offered that I could stay with his friends in the area. Ultimately, I switched hotels. It was some of the best service I've ever received.
If you travel to India, I strongly recommend Ajay as a guide. I know when I go back, he will be the first person I email.

Ajay, of Truly India Travel, made India accessible and manageable for my recent trip with my daughter to India. Ajay was highly recommended by a friend and I can see why.
First, Ajay is reliable and speaks excellent English. He emailed with us prior to the trip to work out details of when we would arrive, where we wanted to go, and the kinds of hotels we wanted to book. He booked all the hotels for us, but didn't mind when I wanted to change a couple of them. He's exactly where he says he'll be when he says he'll be there. He's at the airport when we arrived and at the hotel in the morning. Because he has such good English, Ajay was great about explaining sights along the way in this new and beautiful place.
Second, Ajay hires excellent drivers. We spent three days on the road with one of Ajay's drivers and found him to be equally kind and reliable and an excellent driver. An added bonus during those three days was the constant supply of cold water on ice in a cooler--very much appreciated in the hot Indian summer!
Finally, Ajay is simply a wonderful person. He has a great sense of humor and a genuine warmth. At the end of the trip, I didn't feel like I'd hired a guide. I felt like he'd been a friend for years.
I recommend Ajay, and Truly India Travel, without any reservations whatsoever.
