The hospital.is over crowded and conjusted . It looks like under staffed. The discharge precedure is pathetic and keeps outgoing patients waiting for hrs unnecessarily. They hurry only till you pay the bill.
Nursing counter don't tell realistic time to complete procedure.

I had bad experience with the sahyadri staff. I took appoinment throgh the phone. They told me they call one day before appointment day. Somehow i could not receive call on that day. I got message from the hospital that my appointment is confirmed at morning 10:00 clock. I went to hospital as per schedule. After going there they told me your appointment is not confirmed u have t wait till all patient done. If my appointment was not confirm why they sent meessage regarding my confirmation? I have wasted my 5 6 hrs in hospital and still not got chance to meet doctor. Very bad experience. Appointment staff not understading the value of time and give wrong information regarding appointment.

Many things attract the public. But asking visiting pass to meet patient is something weird. Suppose patient is alone and patient's relative at the reception to meet him. They don't have any other choice other than patient come to reception and give the pass. It's something weird at most of the time. To provide security to patient, hospital can appoint a security person for every ward to meet one relative at a time.

Many things make a hospital great :
An attentive staff
Clean toilets
Seating for family
A decent cafeteria
Hygiene
Efficiency
Well trained staff
Unfortunately the hospital and staff leave a lot to be desired. A floor full of staff had no clue on what to do when a patient started vomiting, they had to run around to find tissue and hand sanitizer.
The lifts cannot accommodate the hoards of people in the hospital , the waiting is endless.
The state of the cafeteria is pathetic. Cramped , dingy, cluttered it looked very unhygienic.
The doctors might be the only saving grace in this hospital but that might not be enough because the staff is anything but cordial!!!!
All in all they made a stressful situation even worse!!!!!
