I am so surprised about exceptionally high food/drinks prices and parking prices at the hospital. Why government not regulating things like this?People are forced to spend time on hospital territory due to different and sad circumstances and to make profit on it at least is disgraceful. Although have come across staff being professional and helpful. But was forced to wait in A&E for 12 hours!!!!

Poor care if you're old and don't make a nuisance of yourself. My mother-in-law had an accident with her stoma bag today and the nurse who came to help her was seen by us leaving the room sighing and tutting.So sad that a lady of 82 with terminal cancer was in tears when we returned to the room because she felt she was somehow at fault for this accident. Which might not have happened had somebody checked on her in the one and half hours before I noticed it while I was making her comfortable. The atmosphere in this hospital leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully she is moving to hospice soon where the care will be exemplary. The care in St.Vincents costs a lot but you can't buy kindness.My husband was so upset leaving today and she begged us not to leave which has never happened before.

220 euros​ (!) for a basic ultrasound. No context, no explanation. "Results will be sent to your GP"

Had two stays in St. Vincents Private a few days apart. Hospital spotless, food wonderful and plentiful. Staff courteous. Rooms spacious and all mod cons. Having just spent two days in Kilkenny General Hospital on a trolley it makes you appreciate how fortunate you are to be able to stay privately.

The worst coffee I have ever been served in "The Shop" beside the pharmacy. It was so bad I just left it behind. €2.50 and it didn't either smell or taste like coffee. How on earth they get away with it is beyond me..
