I had a major operation in the maternity unit three weeks ago and I wish to thank Dr Katherine Astbury and her surgical team for being so professional and also very caring - I could not have asked for better care.
I would also like to thank all the nursing staff who helped me through some pretty frightening nights.= they were all wonderful. I am now on the road to recovery and can never thank them all enough. I could not fault any of the staff for one single thing. They are all overworked but still find time to give you encouragement = thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Some departments are better than others. I will say all the staff are excellent in their jobs. They are clearly under staffed in departments but they always do their best with the resources they have. Anytime I have been there i have had a good standard of professional care and the staff were very good to me. Everyone has different experiences of the Health Service Executive.
