Simply the best fish restaurant I've been in. Nothing ostentatious, mackerel caught today as starter. Brill, was brilliant ok actually sensational. Fantastic scenery, looking right out on Galway bay

Truly a gem of a restaurant. The most wonderful food, atmosphere, and views. I will return if I ever find myself within 100km of this restaurant. Five stars!

The food was delicious. My husband and I ordered main courses and starters that we both enjoyed. However, the service was lacking. Our server was not attentive to our table. He offered to bring us fresh water twice, but never fulfilled this promise. We mentioned a small concern about one of our entrees. The server stated a manager should have talked with us about it, but he never alerted the manager so that they could address it. We enjoyed the lovely view of the bay and delicious flavors, but the poor service left a bad taste in our mouth.
EDIT: when the check arrived the server had comped us for a portion of our bill, apologizing for the "sloppy service."
