Good option for 1 or 2 nights in Catania. Good breakfast. Very clean. Great price mas quality relation.

Booked the room in the hotel in February for 2 families. Had good expectations because of all the good reviews. Our friends got a nice, big room. Our room was on the other side of the hallway, had an awful smell of cigarettes (non smoking room). Went to a receptionist who apologised and offered 2 different rooms. Both smelled of smoke. She could not offer the room on the other side of the hallway and even if she did our trust in the hotel was completely ruined. We checked out, had to pay first night for both rooms although our friends spent 30 min and us zero in our room, had to look for different accommodation at 20:00 with 3 small children. Awful experience. I spend minimum 30 days per year in hotels all over Europe. This is the only time I had such problems.

Having stayed at both IBIS Palermo and Aceriale I can with no doubt say that the accommodation and staff are excellent while breakfast is superb
I will recommend it to everyone
