Debit cards are STRICTLY not accepted. Only credit cards are accepted. BIG FAIL. You can easily loose your prepaid reservation without credit card, especially, when booked with 3rd party providers who won't allow cancelation.

I couldn't get the car I booked and I got no answer why I can't , they just told me to go to another rental companie !!! Bad staff !

I book the car online with the credit card , but when I arrived at Europcar they told me that i can't rent the car because my credt card is visa electonic . The booking was made with the same credit card I wanted to pay here . And they also told me that " it is wrriten on our website " . A lie . It isn't anywhere mention when you want to book a car that a visa electronic card it isn't ok .

i took the car 30 min later and they charged me 1 full day. they are very hard to find also in the airport and they are really rude. never booking from Europecar again!!!

This rental is OK.
I say that cause you can rent a car but go for full insurance... first of all Italians crazy drivers second of all they told us not to check the car we didn't but took photos with date and there were bumps on the roof and engine top and they told us that was our fault... since we had full insurance no extra cost.
Driving is fun here but be EXTREMELY carefull ;)
